low buy 2021?
So I TRIED to do a low buy the past few months at the end of 2020. BUT I think I pretty much failed. I bought some stuffs that weren't budgeted and did made some impulse purchases. I don't want to be hard on myself when I buy things that aren't planned but I want to be hard on myself, to be strict on what I purchase. Especially this few days I've been buying things that are more expensive more than $100 and sometimes I don't see them as expensive. Yes I can afford it but I need to see more value in the money that I'm earning and saving them up more.
I've set my intention for low buy 2021 at the very beginning of the year but guess who broke it on a day I was out. I planned to buy something else, but turn out the thing wasn't as expected so I didn't get to buy it. I bought other random stuffs that is actually not needed. I only felt the "ergh" feeling when I got home and just looking at the stuffs that I bought.
In this month of January is also my birthday, so I tend to be more lenient. I bought myself a kobo clara, an ebook reader, as a gift to myself. I've gotten into reading and decided to get that as I can read the books from the library on it unlike kindle.
So how do I move forward with the low buy for 2021? I've decided to really try my best for the rest of the year to carry on with the low buy and follow strictly to my budget. I will keep up with the updates at the end of each month (I hope) and will come back if I discovered anything about this journey.
