feeling awful after purchasing some stuffs

I've recently make some purchases for my desk setup for working from home and just for having my own ideal desk setup. Though I would say it's "needed", its not necessarily needed since working on a laptop should be sufficient. However, I do still want to have a new desk setup that I hope can bring more productivity and making the whole working from home situation a good experience.

So during the 11.11 sale, I bought a new chair and desk since they were on sale. I planned for this like 2 weeks before. This 2 were the main stuffs that I wanted to get but in order to complete the desk setup I purchased a few other stuffs.

I've also ordered a large table mat/ large mousepad and some 3m command tapes/ hooks that I want to use with my new table. I want to stick the power extension on the bottom side of the table so the command tapes will be used for that. While the hooks I want to paste at the side of the table so that I can still hang some stuffs.

I decided to buy a few more stuffs which includes an aluminium laptop stand. So previously I tried the moft stand and it wasn't exactly my favourite. But actually now having the external keyboard the moft stand would still do good. But this aluminium stand is cheaper and I've gained a few $$ from the selling the moft stand even after buying this one.

Within the same weekend, I also finally decided to order the canon g7x mark ii camera. There was a promotion with a free battery, so I was contemplating whether to get it or not. I got it at 605 which is a steal tbh but it could've been cheaper because the previous month they sold it cheaper during the time sale. But I decided to pay it at an instalment of 6 months. On top of that, I also ordered a memory card which was an additional $21.

After receiving all these stuffs, I started to feel a yucky feeling that wasn't making me feel good. Tbh, I do expect this when I order a lot of stuffs and especially in this case since some of the items are actually above $100.

About a few days later, I went to ikea to buy a few more stuffs for my desk setup. I bought a table lamp which has a wireless phone charger, a new mug (which suits my aesthetic) and a coffee storage box. After my first trip to ikea, I decided to make another trip to the other outlet of ikea. And damn, I spent another $100 there and this time I felt really awful about my purchase. Few days after, I made another trip AGAIN to return some of the stuffs. That moment when I returned the stuffs was such a relief for me because I got my money back.

MY FINAL PURCHASE OF THIS WHOLE DESK SETUP was on black Friday, where I ordered a Logitech Mx Master 2s mouse (which ended up being too big for me, so I'm trying to sell it away now) :') and the MX keys to replace the apple magic keyboard which I sold away. I'm actually quite happy with this keyboard as the color scheme really suits my setup with the whole space grey and black.

During the black friday sale, Organic Basics was having a sale as well and I almost bought some stuffs. I added the stuffs to cart but didn't check out as the shipping cost was a bit much. So I'm thankful that I manage to stop myself from buying there.

There are definitely some regrets over some of the purchases, like the table lamp (which I can actually return if I still have the box but too late I disposed it). I find that it wasn't exactly necessary for my table as I just tend to use the room light and I need to get better light bulb for it perhaps. Yellow light isn't my fave and it's just too warm.

December is going to be a strictly no spend month except for my budgeted expenses and no other additional purchases to be done. I really need to be more strict with my spending and continue with my low buy in order to achieve my financial goals.

This post has been quite long, so I think I'll talk about low buy 2021 and financial goals in another post.
