Nothing to Summit - Irum Ibrahim

I bought this book last year before I left for exchange and didn't managed to read it before I left. I didn't want to bring books along with me during exchange because they're heavy. So I only managed to read this recently.
"A collection of short essays on how to climb the mountain that is life."
This book was really encouraging, filled with many quotes from the Quran and about the ability to rise in general. Most times I got hooked reading especially when I was in a "getting motivated" mood.

Here are some of the lesson I picked up from the book -

  1. Remember that god has everything under control
  2. The beauty of struggle lies in the battle itself
  3. The Sweetest Pain: Be grateful for your losses, for they are the one of the greatest blessings
  4. She knew that if she kept trying and remained patient, she would get to the top, and she did.

I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it to those who want to get some motivation in life and get spiritually inspired at the same time.
